Several years ago at an office I worked at, they switched us to coffee pod machines and told us all that we had to provide our own coffee from now on. Now I had always liked to fill my coffee mug and use one of the office provided hot chocolate packets in my coffee to make a sort of mocha latte, maybe twice a week or less. So when the office made this decision people started questioning management in the meeting and finally they said “Well it's come to our attention that some employees have been stealing the hot chocolate resources by misusing them, so that's why we decided to change the policy.” So I guess I personally caused everyone to have to buy their own coffee because some snitch or low level kiss ass manager decided to bitch about me putting an out of date packet of Swiss miss in my coffee. 🤣 When I tell you way they were trying to justify the idea of someone “misusing” hot chocolate and nobody was buying it…
