Just some thoughts…

Soo I’m a 28 year old, live in Midwest, work in media. Started with a dream at about 15 didn’t land my dream job until I was about 25. The Agency I work for pays over 50k salary to everyone, we work 32 hours a week (no fridays), full benefits, 10-6 is our base but you can make your own hours there is no clock in / clock out. There is no hierarchy in position only in responsibility to get tasks done. Everyone gets unlimited PTO, we all take a few weeks of a year for vacation, and can take days / mornings / afternoons off whenever we have the time. Anywho it’s a lot of freedom, not everybody can handle pushing a company forward without someone spoon feeding tasks, but it works as a great filtration system. Anywho it’s a lot of freedom, not everybody can handle pushing a company forward without someone spoon feeding tasks, but it works as a great filtration system. When People take advantage of the freedoms, they don’t get anything done. And people who don’t get anything done don’t last long what so ever.

Not sure the point I’m making I just see some people work these crazy awful jobs and I can’t imagine that lifestyle what so ever. I feel so badly for the folks who have what we at my job call “real jobs” (factories etc.)… whatever you do, Learn skills you enjoy and take pride in them every day. Work doesn’t always suck, but a lot of jobs do.
