I’m 26, this is terrifying. Thankfully it’s not costing me all that much because I’d inadvertently put everything in place long ago. Now my only real costs are the paperwork and a few equipment purchases.
The industry I’m in is so exploitive of its workers, so the idea of being responsible only for myself is somewhat thrilling.
It’s a lot of hard work I’ve done and still have to do, but my parents both successfully ran their own businesses in their respective industries and they can give me advice.
It’s not a big deal, but I hope it pays off. I have another part time gig (that actually treats me decent and I really love) in a different field to help keep me afloat whilst I try and hustle for work in this one.
