Just wanted to say thank you from Europe

I own an HR consulting company (don't hate me yet) in Belgium and i spent a lot of time looking at this sub mainly for best and worst practices. After reading many, many, posts on this sub, I realized how different your reality is compare to us (at least Belgium, France, Netherlands, … Can't speak for all) but I still think that I can find inspiration from all of your posts. Last week, a Belgian company contacted us because they're trying to find an experienced profile in the US but can't manage to find one.

They asked us to work on it, I asked what was the salary and let them know that I'll be sharing the salary in my first message to potential candidates (not something we do normally in Belgium but I don't think this is as important here as it is in the US at least for now).

They were a bit reticent but then the client said “with the great resignation going on over there, maybe it's a good idea !”

Of course it was!
I've received 10 positive responses with resume attached in the past three hours and I'm working on it for the past three hours

So yeah, if some US based manager is lurking in this sub and still has doubts, please listen to them ! My client spent a fortune in the past three months searching by themselves and a (small) fortune for my company services.

So yeah thanks !

TLDR: recruiting in the US seems pretty easy after reading posts from this sub.
