An email that was just sent out by the Kroger Company. The largest Grocer in America now “can't afford” to give a few dollars off our to our own workers.
Subject: Promise Card ($3.00) Being Discontinued
Good Afternoon Everyone,
We will be revising the Our Promise program and the use of the $3.00 promise cards. If an Associate presents a $3.00 promise card at checkout, we must take the coupon from the Associate and place it in the drawer with all other coupons. We should not be giving the coupon back to the Associate once it is used.
The Our Promise $3.00 Uplift cards were to be used to reward an Associate that demonstrated exceptional behaviors relating to Our Promise. We should also have used these to reward Associates that are mentioned in Our Promise shops and they received a VG behavior score.
Effective Sunday October 30th, the coupon will be removed from the POS system and we will no longer accept any coupons after this date.
All existing coupons that are unused, should be cut up before being discarded. Do not distribute any additional Our Promise Uplift Cards upon reading this email.
Thank you for your understanding and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We will form a committee to revise Our Promise Rewards Program and share with the team soon.
Thanks
Division Retail Operations Manager
