I’m in a Facebook group where landlords collectively talk about “bad” tenants… I usually scroll on and let people know when they are posted only to let them be prepared for legal services since everything may seem fine at home, their landlord is really posting their full names and addresses telling other landlords to not rent to them. Some even went as far as to admit to illegal activity like discriminating based on gender, children, service and support animals, and even single mother tenants. But this one case is highly and I mean HIGHLY illegal and the most damaging.
Someone in the group who runs a business posted a website he created under a private registration proxy… but his real name is on his Facebook along with his business information and a location of his business.
The website does not make you sign up for an account in order to submit a tenants personal info such as full name, first four digits of SSN, drivers license #, and car tag #.
I am not posting the website for obvious reasons, I don’t want anyones information to be at stake. But this one takes the cake for the DUMBEST person to break the law.
I reported it with his local Sheriffs communications department. The person on the phone was shocked to even hear this information about it.
However, please join these Facebook groups to combat this type of criminal activity. I don’t know if this is the only website up that does this because this idiot probably got his idea from somewhere.
Do not ask for links, I am not providing them since law enforcement is going to investigate him themselves.
