Last night I sent in my resignation letter without a job already lined up

The company I work (soon to be worked) for is a good place, decent pay and benefits and all that. But, I decided to leave because I realized I was pouring myself into a job and not the things I enjoy. I don't really have any hobbies, I've gotten socially distant, and just lost some of the spark that I used to have. I was working 80 hours a week for most of 2020 and 2021 to pay off my student loans and save more money, which I was able to do, but I never took more than long weekend off and haven't had a vacation longer than 3-4 days since I start working when I was 14. I was working 80 hours a week for most of 2020 and 2021 to pay off my student loans and save more money, which I was able to do, but I never took more than long weekend off and haven't had a vacation longer than 3-4 days since I start working when I was 14.

So, my partner and I bought our plane tickets, booked some AirBnB's, and are going to spend the next few months in Europe (we're both American) and I will be gainfully unemployed.

It's bizarre to think that for the first time in my life I will have next to no responsibilities and can truly spend time finding myself without other people pressuring me, and I am frankly terrified to think that I won't have an income. But I know that the experience and my happiness are worth far more than a paycheck. And, if the right position comes up I may take it, but I am finally seeing this as time away from working and not time to find another job.
