Learning About Antiwork

I have been learning about antiwork mainly because the few people I personally know who claim to be part of the antiwork movement are just moochers who don't have jobs and live off others, they talk about how bad society is and they won't contribute to corporate culture. These are people who couch surf and live off friends and family while not helping in a meaningful way. I made a post about that in another sub a few months ago. I am someone who does want to work. I have two jobs and work 90 hours a week. I enjoy both jobs. One is a night shift full time and the other is part time in the day. I am someone who does want to work. I have two jobs and work 90 hours a week. I enjoy both jobs. One is a night shift full time and the other is part time in the day.

I am all for fighting for fair wages and being treated properly in the workplace. I believe that going to work every day gives me a purpose. When I have too much time off I go a little stir crazy.

The work culture does need to improve and wages need to exceed the cost of living even by just a small margin. You see for a long time my goal was to have 100 dollars to myself after groceries and bills were covered and I got there. Now I am doing well, both jobs are backed by unions and I make enough money to be able to plan to start buying a house in the next few years.
