leave career or ask for raise?(canada)

I am about to give my 2 weeks notice to a company I have been working for for over 10years. I Never asked for a raise, but very slight increase due to laws were applied. Last week I let them know I may be leaving as I cannot afford to work for them any longer, I’ve had to take out bank loans just to keep my family housed. Wife and I work 2 jobs each but still just making it by. Not going to lie….it has been very stressful in my family. Good company, they were never unfair to me over the years. They came back asking if I would reconsider and wanted me to give them a number that would help my family out. I have a feeling there were others on the video chat on that day, but I was only able to see my manager. My question…

My question is, does this “feel” right?
I feel like this may not be for my best as I obviously heard other voices at random times, and my manager reacting to those voices which concerned me.

I make only $50,000(CAD) after taxes and have a family of 4 to support.

What would be a fair ask to the company for compensation increase after more than 10years?
Is this a trap of sorts to cover themselves legally?

Am I just being paranoid and the company actually cares?

This company is a world wide entity, touching every country on the planet basically.

Perks are great for my family, medical especially. But the time required to do this job will prevent me from taking on a 3rd job.

Just looking for honest advice, hopefully from both sides.
