Leave form for taking my lunch break? I quit!

My boss is a massive micro-manager and a bully. Earlier this week my wife and 16 month old daughter were isolating because the baby had surgery, so I had to look after the 4 yo for an hour over my lunch break. Without even messaging or calling me, she asked the accountant to ask me to fill out a leave form for that hour (it was actually for a job interview at an ~800 staff development house). I was on the fence about following through with the interview process, but after seeing how petty she was about me taking an hour, when I work from home, it tipped me over the edge and made the decision for me. I got an offer 30k more than I am on at the moment and handed in my resignation the next day. I was on the fence about following through with the interview process, but after seeing how petty she was about me taking an hour, when I work from home, it tipped me over the edge and made the decision for me.

I got an offer 30k more than I am on at the moment and handed in my resignation the next day. It's been 3 business work days and she still hasn't even acknowledged my resignation letter. They only have a few in-house developers, and only one knows how to write ASP.NET APIs, so they will be pretty boned considering I only gave them 1 weeks notice as per my contract.

I'm in a much better place and don't need advice. Just wanted to vent about this old school micro-manager from Signature Software that doesn't know how software is actually developed.
