My old boss freaked out on me when I found a new job. Started calling me names and even went as far as saying he’s the reason I didn’t get a job I applied to about a year ago. Saying he told them not to hire me for the sole reason of protecting his own personal interested. Pretty sure that’s defamation, but I could be wrong. He told me I was a shitty worker and did everything half assed. In reality, I was the one he relied on to do pretty much everything. After our exchange, I left his office as if I was gonna finish out my two weeks before the new job. I actually just fucking left after that because I felt extremely disrespected and uncomfortable. Never has he once brought to my attention that I am a shitty worker. Needless to say, I am extremely happy I left that job. I was there for years and got literally nothing out of it. Nothing. Just posting this to let you know that there are other opportunities out there and if you’re being harassed in your work space just leave. It isn’t worth risking your mental health.
