So thanks to a lot of the posts from this subreddit I was able to navigate a job that was actively not training me and trying to write me up for not knowing what I was doing. Navigation was easy- I quit.
Part time to make ends meet and keep sanity I worked in a comic shop. When i asked my boss if i could pick up a few more hours and explained my situation he asked what i needed to stay with his small business. Now I'm being paid a liveable wage in retail talking about comic books and games with people.
It's amazing what happens when employers listen.
TL;DR dont let a job ruin your life, there are much much better opportunities out there for ya.
