Saw this post over on another sub, and it got me thinking, would it be possible to mandate that all jobs, in all industries, be subject to a union? Is there something in the constitution that bars this? Is that what right-to-work actually refers to, that a state has made this effectively illegal, and that unions are optional? Not really talking about the political will to get this done, cause, uh gestures around, just the actually legality of it. Edit: a word
