Hello I (21/F) was out of work for one week because I had caught COVID kind of bad to the point I struggled to breathe , thankfully it was still mild enough and I got so much better . I only work part time (4 days) , but since I was gone my boss lessened my days to only 1 . Is that legal by chance ? Maybe that’s a stupid question , just felt heavily unfair I guess . He had hired someone new and I guess just gave him my days 🙁 . PS // I also had asked him if I could use my sick hours twice and he’d leave me on read . TLDR : out for a week due to COVID , boss gave most of my days to new hire . Also never responded to me about being able to use my sick hours .
