It’s not enough to strike against one employer. The union should improve the skills and services of workers. The union should shop it’s workers to other employers. The union should offer services and labor to others to get the best pay and benefits for its members. And when the union gets big enough, it’s should go into business itself.
I think unions shouldn’t be afraid of recruiting managers. After all, managers can be turned into allies. We could get access to books of business and have better ideas of how the operation can be ran to benefit the workers. The goal of the workers should be to not need the boss anymore. To own the company.
