Over the past couple of days, I've seen users share stories of older couples/families who have <$1 million in savings and are seeking retirement. In your opinion, would that be the time to use those disposable funds for investments in things like the stock market with the idea that you'd essentially continue to grow your wealth?
I don't know much about the market except for the fact that it greatly contributes to wealth inequality and it's probably not as well known as it should be. But I just wanted to know what the community thought would be wise if someone were lucky enough to have significant funds at their disposal near the end of their career.
