I'm searching for a tiktok video someone made that proposed this theory: the middlemanagers that insist the most on abolishing working from home are the linkedin types that really lean into “your job and position defines your identity” bs. Therefore, they need an office full of employees that act as NPCs so they can roleplay that awful work-based fantasy they call a life.
I thought I had found that video in this subreddit, but either I'm wrong or I can't find the keywords. Someone knows what I'm talking about? Video was intended to be funny, but the more I think about it, the more depressing it actually is.
