Losing Faith in Doing Right Thing, When Companies Won’t do Right by You

I resigned and put my 2 weeks notice in at my last employer. On my last paycheck, these fuckers decided to: 1. Short my earned income 2. Take double mandatory and elective deductions, I mean everything: taxes, medical insurance, dental insurance, etc. 3. It was well over $2000 they tried to fuck me on.

I called them, emailed them and it was like pulling teeth to get them to talk to me much less rectify the matter. I finally got receptionist to confirm verbally that they had made a mistake, but they would not fix the whole problem. They only paid a portion of what was rightfully mine.

It is so shitty how this companies have profits in millions ( sometimes billions) $$$ and they can go around fucking people.

I did the “right thing” worked through by full notice period, returned their equipment, not to mention everyone that I worked with or for in the company ( up to the CTO) said I was one to the best workers they have ever had.

Yet this is how they treat the “best” – like dog shit.

I reported the company to the state labor department….. it’s been more than 6 weeks and still no resolution.
