I live in the Seattle area and have been desperately searching for a new home for the last month and a half. Employment status is huge here to be eligible to rent literally anything. I worked remotely for a company in Ohio.
This morning I got a “this isn’t working out, goodbye” call out of nowhere. No warnings. No “pick up the place.” When I asked for any kind of clarification, I was simply told “this is what’s best for the company” over and over.
I have no idea what I am going to do. I have housing until the end of this month. I know this isn’t a post with as many juicy details as many here, but I feel like I am just screaming into the void. How are we supposed to live?
