I'll try to keep this brief. My best friend was forced to quit her job yesterday and later that day also lost her kitten to FIP.
Her dad got in a car accident last week, head on Collison and broke his knee. He had to get surgery, and long story short she had to go and take care of him (they have no other family). She told her boss she had to go take care of him and he threw a fit.
So she was gone for 3 work days and the day she was supposed to come back her boss made her stay home and do a Google meets with him where he proceeded to yell at her, swear at her and complain that he's never had an employee before who's had so many “life issues”. He was mad she didn't ask permission to go take care of her dad, but instead told him she had to go. He wouldn't let her get a single word in without interrupting her so she resigned after being forced to tears.
Now during all this her cat was diagnosed with FIP and she was up all night dealing with his seizures…
Unfortunately he passed away that same day…
So me, being the spiteful and furious best friend went and left a 1 star review on his business. No words. He found me on Facebook and said “I see you left a 1 star review and are friends with Jess, you will be hearing from my attourney.”
I told him about her cat and how he was a horrible human being that makes me sick. He gave me a thumbs up.
Later that day after we laid her cat to rest, we went to pick up her things from work after they had all left. This bastard, PRINTED my review out and taped it to her things.
So I went and added truthful words to my review as well as a screenshot of his FB message. You can read it on Google at RockyMounts
My question here is, should I be concerned about this attourney threat? It's not exactly a small business, it's a pretty well known Colorado business. My review has nothing false in it and I was careful with my words.
Also she recorded the entire conversation with him and will be filing for unemployment as well.
