Can anyone explain why we still use money? Obviously it is like a place holder for possessions(such as the US dollar was backed by gold) but since we have transitioned to fiat currency the US dollar isnt really worth anything. what im asking is why dosent the government continuously supply goods to citizens while citizens provide labor? basically why dont we just do communism already???
