I keep hearing over and over from people accepting a new job only to be rescinded one or two days before it starts. This seems like it should be considered breach of contract of some kind. I think if a bunch of us write our congressman (senator?) maybe something can be done. A new labor bill that would force companies to pay out (one-three months salary) if they rescind the offer after it's been signed and employee has given notice. Force these companies to pay for being so gd flippant about other people's lives and careers.
