Antiwork

Man, my new job has made it clear how ridiculously simple it is to take care of employees.

So, I work at a call center, which is nothing new to me, but this one is outbound, and I hate it. Feels like I'm some scammer, and gets a lot of negative responses from the people I'm calling(what I'm actually doing isn't bad by any means but I get the responses completely). I should be miserable here. But the pay is decent, the benefits are good, and every member of the staff has been incredibly respectful. It's in office, but we have a full kitchen. Lots of extra PTO offered as incentives, and boss doesn't care what you do at the desk as long as nobody is offended and you make your(extremely reasonable) quotas. My boss hasn't done anything particularly special, just treated me like a person and helped me out. Makes it even more obvious how awful some bigger corporations are at taking care of their employees 🙁
