Management threw away everything in my personal work locker.

I work at a large retail chain. I worked today for the first time after a ~week gap in my schedule. Went to the break room to grab a snack from my locker, found it empty with the combination changed. I confronted management about this, was basically told “oh we just cleaned out the unused lockers”. Apparently when I was hired they marked my locker down as the locker next to mine, so on paper my locker should have been “unoccupied”. It's a somewhat understandable mistake, however management did not give the slightest shit that they threw away $50+ of my snacks, PPE, water bottles, and clothing. No apology, no offer to pay for anything, not even a gift voucher for the store. What if I had had $500 cash in there? Honestly I just feel like like my personal space has been violated, and management's response was less than…
