I quit my job and my union rep told me I might as well take all my sick days before leaving. I called in sick my last 2 days of work but I was actually sick. I was coughing so much I could barely breathe and my chest hurt. My manager thought I was lying and said I am being un courteous. I was being courteous by giving 2 weeks notice when I had another job lined up that wanted me to start ASAP. Good thing I left that place.
