I reported my restaurants dishwasher for calling me a “fing f-slur” under his breath while I was walking away from him. My manager spoke to him and he told them that he actually said “fing gonna collapse,” regarding the amount of work he needed to do. My manager told me that she believes him and thinks that I misheard. I think he's lying to cover himself, I don't see how I could've misheard the intonation or that many syllables. I also believe that my manager is covering for him because they are desperate for dishwashers, they lose a dishwasher about every 3 weeks. I'm going to give my statement to her tomorrow, how should I go about this?
