I had an incident with the store manager trying to make me do a job that I’m not supposed/trained to do and she sent me home and told me not to come the next day. I can’t afford to not work so I applied for unemployment bc of a reduction of hours. I spoke to HR and they told me that she told them that I was calling out. I informed them otherwise. They told me to report to work my next scheduled day. I reported to work and noticed my employee ID was not found. Spoke
to the manager on duty and he informed me that the store manager had fired me since I had applied for unemployment. I left, updated my incident reports and left a voice mail for HR.
What else should I do?
