I've followed this sub for a while and have even posted here. I'm a manager and try my best not to be an asshole. Judging from the fact that my employees like me (we go out, talk about our personal lives, talk outside work etc), I'd say they like me.
Now I have this one worker who keeps telling me last minute he can't work. He has another job. It's clear that the job I'm a manager at isn't his priority which is fine with me, but he keeps messaging me on Sundays his new availability. His availability is down to three days now and he only tells me this mere hours before the beginning of one of the most hectic work weeks.
I'm struggling to honestly see a reason to keep him as an employee, but I want to make sure I'm not over reacting here.
