and when I confronted them on it, they condescendingly said,”Well is it going to be the end of the world for you to work those shifts?”
I wanted to say ALOT but told them my partner would be stuck without a ride to work and makes more $$ than me & that my availability was approved directly by said manager.
Manager told me they don't have very many options and how they have to work around new trainees schedules trying to guilt me into it..
But then found someone to switch with me within minutes.
Hey managers – don't expect employees making $12/hr to rearrange their own and their partner's lives to cover for your fuck up!! & gd when you fuck up, apologize instead of basically telling your employee how little you value their time or them as an individual.
