Manager wanted me to work while being blacklisted by the Health Departement

Hello fellow comrades -^ Had my fair share of bad working experiences. However one really took the top spot. During college I was working at a local bakery in my German hometown. After a BBQ I felt really sick and had to leave work early. After a visit to the doctor I got a letter from the German Health Department. Hello fellow comrades -^

Had my fair share of bad working experiences. However one really took the top spot. During college I was working at a local bakery in my German hometown. After a BBQ I felt really sick and had to leave work early. After a visit to the doctor I got a letter from the German Health Department. It read that I was infected with Campylobacter, a highly contagious bacteria infection stemming from undercooked chicken. I was blacklisted from working in food related jobs until I got too negative test results in a row (while fully paid gladly).

If you are really unlucky you can become a „permanent secreter“ which means that you banned for life working in food related industries.

I was lucky and had to stay at home for only 2 weeks. However 1 and a half weeks into my quarantine my manager messaged me and asked me to step in for a colleague who quit the day before. I answered that I am legally not allowed to do so. Me and the whole company could be held liable for this. A campylobacter infection can spread really fast and essentially shut down schools, restaurants and other businesses. My manager told me: just wear gloves.

Noped the hell out of there a few weeks later, after an even more outrageous incident.
