Managers can do whatever they want

So I was a supervisor at a food service job. My manager basically broke every rule that he expected others to comply with. Mainly regarding tardiness and breaks. Everyone at work just accepted it and said well he’s paid salary so gets to hr show up whenever he wants. I wonder if that’s how it like at most jobs these days. Manager treat you with no respect yet expects you to treat them with respect smh lol
