Massive thunderstorms in texas right now, shutting down some highways and causing a ton of wrecks. We're on our 4th round of Emergency Alerts, all of which are saying that it is life threatening and it's only 10:20am.
Everyone i've talked to have come in 45-1hour late due to the storm and roadways, all of which have complained that they told our boss that it wouldn't be safe to come in only for him to get pissy and say that we should “be more prepared” for stuff like this.
Where is he at this morning you may ask? Sitting at home, doing nothing. He is a production manager, i don't see how he can possibly manage production from home.. (We use machinery for die cutting)
Not to mention we're the slowest we have ever been, with me completing all new tasks that are usually scheduled 2 months in advance. Currently sitting here with nothing to do, so i can't wait to be scolded about that. Lovely.
