So I recently made a post about my manager complimenting me while also threatening to write me up. I'm putting in my two weeks today because I found someone to mentor me in a trade I'm interested in!!
I worked there for 2 days!!!! On the second day, the lady bought me lunch and let me eat on the clock. My food was like $15. She probably makes what I do rn at my current job.
Then there was the time about 6 months ago, when my current manager “bought me lunch” and then cashapp requested me the $12 she most def. makes at least double what I make lol
I'm over people having money and acting like they can't possibly help out someone else. I don't expect anyone to buy me anything, ever, but it's also pretty garbage to expect your employee to pay you back an hour of their time vs 10 minutes of yours…
