I’m not sure if thats the place where I should ask this, but since im assuming pretty much everyone on here is antiwork, I wont get bombarded with ridiculous replies saying im asking for too much or that i’m somehow lazy for wanting better for myself.
Basically, I’m a college student and in most minimum wage jobs I had, the company was very greedy and management didn’t treat the employees well. I often got my hours cut after forgetting to do something small (An example would be the time where I left the job when I was supposed to as it was said on my schedule. I also finished what I had to do. However, my coworkers didnt finish cleaning the restaurant yet. My manager gave me a hard time and said that for the ‘team’ i had to stay and help them. Despite the pay being iffy because we werent even paid for staying after work for 10 minutes). The manager would also yell at us at lot when it was busy at work.
I was just wondering if anybody knew any minimum wage jobs where corporate and the head boss enforces good treatment of employees. Or just somewhere that is less stressful where you dont have to do everything super fast and swiftly.
I hope there is at least one company like this. Preferably in Canada since I live here.
