So I’m in college. Like any college student I was looking for a job to help me get by. The management ended up being so bad I quit without a 2 weeks notice 8 hours before my shift was due to start. I just got my last paycheck and noticed I got a “lack of notice missed shift fee” taken out. Is this illegal? I feel like it is? I wanna know before I report it.
It was just hourly pay so other than pissing some people off my lack of showing up didn’t really cost the company anything. I don’t understand the fee?
