Mistakenly received extra money after my trial period was terminated.

I started a new job earlier this year, in a small company after being completely burned out by a gigantic multi-billion group that treats people like shit. Thought a smaller company (~10 employees) would consider their workers better. Oh boy was I wrong. I'm in a European country where you have pretty long trial periods (3 months). The CEO, who happened to be my direct manager at this new job was a complete nightmare. He flat out refused to train me. Said he didn't had the time to do so. Except no one else in the company could train me for this specific job except him. I tried my best to do this job, but nothing I would do would be good enough for him. (I'm an engineer but my field is very specific so I can't say it on here) He would regularly accuse me of trying to sabotage…

I tried my best to do this job, but nothing I would do would be good enough for him. (I'm an engineer but my field is very specific so I can't say it on here)

He would regularly accuse me of trying to sabotage his company, every time something I'd do wasn't EXACTLY as he wanted it to be. And when I'd ask him to teach me how I should've handled that thing, he'd cut the conversation short saying he doesn't have time for that.

For context, I graduated engineering school in 2018. He hired a '' junior '' profile because he couldn't afford someone with more experience (his words)

Now onto the interesting part :
I spent 2 months in this company, but I was honestly relieved when he ended my trial period a few days ago. I submit my last expense report on the last day, so they could repay me. (I would visit clients, so they'd pay for my gaz, food, toll fees, hotels…)
The person doing the accounting work is leaving in a few weeks and they don't seem to give a sh*t about their job anymore.
I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but when they reimbursed me for my last expense report, they also refund me for my previous expense report. Except I had already been reimbursed for that one a few weeks ago.

So I'm free from this god awful company. And I have a few hundred euros extra in my pocket.

I hope they don't find out about their mistake, but considering how poorly this company is being handled… They probably won't. I'll consider this money a compensation for the treatment I endured.

Thanks for reading my story!
