Hi, first time posting here and long term follower. My work environment is very toxic since I started the new job almost one year ago. So at the beginning of January I was out for two weeks due to covid and when I came back I started having panic attacks when previously I didn't have them since college. They've gotten more progressive and prominent in the recent months (with the new job) to a point that I have to leave work (I work rotating shifts 1,2,3). I've only told about it to my superiors ( due to the severity of my job) and today I was told by a very close coworker of mine that most of the other coworkers and supervisors were mocking me for leaving work due to my panic attacks. They are starting to spread rumors of things that aren't true and I don't know what to do really… I'm really looking for new jobs but I have debts that made pivoting hard since where I live there's not many work opportunities that pays a living wage.
