Monday morning thinking

I was and I am a hard worker person, first to arrive in office, and last to go home. I changed my 20 years job hoping to find a better one, and I found a worse one; base pay is good, but extra time is not paid. My first instinct when I discovered that the new job was worse, was quit it immediately, but then I was worried about losing my wage and did not want to feel a looser and a quitter. As in the last years, this summer I'll be able to take just a couple of days of vacation, when people around me get two-three weeks. If nothing changes, I'm planning to leave the job around next march to spend the spring and summer months finally free. My regret Is not have followed my instinct and leave the new job immediately.
