Money isn’t the only thing that can make you feel value at work

Recently I was contacted by a recruiter on linked in that was trying to poach me over to another company, they have talked through how much better it was and that they would guarantee they would better my current salary. Well they did put an offer in originally that offer that actually matched my salary l, which I declined. They then offered an additional 5k to try convince me. I declined again. The reason is at my current role, I have a fantastic boss that continues to make sure that his staff are looked after, heard and treated with genuine respect. I really look at them as a role model to how to treat my staff. The old cliche holds true that employees don't quit jobs they quit managers, so when you find one that has your back and treats you with respect it's a job worth holding on to.
