most people hate their job but it’s not considered socially acceptable to be outspoken about it

Kinda hate that when meeting people for the first time the first question is often “what do you do for work” as if that is the defining part of one's character. You're also kind of expected to pretend you enjoy it and that it's important to you even though in reality majority of people only work so they can eat and shelter themselves.
