Been working a job at a resturant for a little over a year, got promoted to Shift Manager in April of this year, upper management has refused to properly train new hires when I'm not there resulting in me having to be an a-hole because GM doesn't make them do that, or GM never said they had too. So i told said GM that if things don't change in a month I'm moving on putting the ball in thier court to do thier job.
They haven't done thier job and i am tired of being pulled out my character and having to to “that manager”. So i just got a job that is paying me 1.75 more ab hour to just be a crew member. I have tried serveal times to speak to upper management and fix the issues, they refuse to do thier job.
I have had to write up 2 people because of not following food safety protocol and GM threw the write ups away.
