I have a raise comming soon or “an opportunity for a raise.” At work. I work for a very large corporation. I am a lower level manager and technically have 2 employees at my location. My location has some of the best numbers in the district and I have also been running a second location with 3 employees for 3 months temporarily untill they hire a new manager. Iv also been training the person they will be promoting into that roll. I also know I was hired on at almost 2 dollars less than my male counterparts with less experience than me.
My big question is how do I go about getting the largest wage increase I can? Should I contact HR to discuss the wage increase befor the meeting? And what are your tips for the wage increase meeting? What should I ask?
I'm making 24.30 and some of my coworkers are making 26.00.
