he hasn’t been on time for a single shift, he calls out all the time & we’re so short staffed 4 people- 2 managers 2 employees) that firing him isn’t even an option. corporate just lets him get away with it all. he doesn’t do his orders, and when he does he just messes them up, he’s forgotten to open the store before, he takes 40+ minute long bathroom breaks. he’s cold and rude to customers and then plays the victim when they leave a bad review.
example: customer asks him where to find an item. he scoffed, rolled his eyes, and pointed the customer to the section. customer makes a complaint and my assistant manager says “the dude was looking at me like I killed his dog, im not going to fake being happy to him” etc.
i could go on & on.
i wish corporate would just fire him, all of us do. but were all so overworked picking up his slack as it is, that if he left, we’d be in complete chaos. they said theyd “rather have a fourth person do absolutely nothing and cover the hours than have the other three people work extra.” which we do already. if any one of us quit, the rest of the team would be screwed over- and they’d probably all quit too because he has us all infuriated.
i just wanted to vent. that is all. love u guys.
