My boss is indirectly calling me a liar

It's driving me crazy. Basically we got this new machine and were told to never lift the deck while the PTO was running, which I've never done. But a belt slipped twice then flipped which stretched and ruined it and my boss asked me multiple times if I've lifted the deck. I didn't. Then just today I was leaving a mess which he once again accused me of lifting the deck despite me telling him I didn't and how the side chute was just blowing shit everywhere. Two of my coworkers who briefly ran it too jumped in to help defend me because seriously, why the hell would I do anything to ruin a belt that is $400?! It's really starting to piss me off. I don't lie to him, especially since mistakes are very easy to spot, so his indirect accusations are grating on my nerves.
