My boss is the sales manager where I work, right under the general manager. My sales manager plays favorites and is absolutely rude to anyone she doesn’t like which is me. She sends me on my break last most of the time, and she often forgets to give us our 10 min breaks until the last min where we’re taking our breaks 10 mins or so before our shift is over. She will barely look me in the eye, and whenever she asks a question of me, she always is dismissive, and seems like me asking a question or her just speaking to me is a courtesy. She doesn’t just treat me like this, it’s more employees she doesn’t like, and if we call her trying to explain why we’re calling out or what’s going on in our lives. She just doesn’t care doesn’t say sorry or anything. Just tells us the policy and moves on. No empathy, and she is only like this to some women at my work too, but none of the guys. What should I do? Should I report her to HR? (Like other employees have) tell my GM? She’s making work a literal hell and my job is so easy, and the morale at my job is suffering because of her. What should I do?
