My boss is threatening to dock our pay

The other day before everyone left the warehouse for their jobs, our boss grouped us up and has a little speech. He said that peak season is here and things need to run a little smoother, chiefly pointing out that some trucks have a pile of trash/dirt left at the end of the day. Fair enough to want the trucks cleaner sure but then threatens us that if trucks continue to come back in this condition that everyone on the job will be docked 1hr. citing that it is unprofessional and “hurts the company image”. Fair enough to want the trucks cleaner sure but then threatens us that if trucks continue to come back in this condition that everyone on the job will be docked 1hr. citing that it is unprofessional and “hurts the company image”. Sure whatever I can get rid of the shit. A simple request accompanied but an unnecessary threat. But when I think about it, what am I meant to do with the trash/dirt pile? If I try to dispose of it in the customers trash barrel they are libel to be upset that I am filling their trash can they pay to get disposed, which would be unprofessional. I can’t simply sweep it on the ground, and last summer he had a little fit about how we should be cleaning the truck at the residence not the shop so it’s contradictory. Either way just a rant, I’ve talked to everyone and explained how they have rights and such a threat is empty. Though he has been sued 2x by former employees and paid out.
