Hey! Let’s keep this short and simple; my boss is a nice dude, sure, but omg – he literally has no idea about anything.
Like fills the day up with meetings and rambles on so he doesn’t have to do any actual work. He never has any idea the status of anything. When my team explains things to him, right after we are done, we literally have to reexplain it because he already forgot. He comes in late and leaves early. He asks other people to do things he could do if he literally made a 5 min phone call. Has no idea how to use any of our programs/softwares and can never find anything in a clearly labeled folder.
I’ve been hustling my ass, coming in early, staying late, and working at home. Anything he doesn’t do falls onto me.
He’s so reactive and I’m proactive so it’s literally is so counter intuitive because it’s always crunch time but, literally does not have to be.
I said “I’m overwhelmed with work” and he was like “yeah we all are” then walked away.
Like literally what do I do??
