Today I (23M) was going to work, somewhat content singing the corporate jingle… when I get a call from my boss saying he wants me to not only open tomorrow, but also close. For about two days to a week because of his own problems. This notice was given to me just the night before. In the past, my boss has made me clean the fryer vigorously and even when it was spotless and shiny he would make me redo it until late night. I told him I would open, and he said something along the lines of how I am “acceptable” and that I would be “compensated”. Should I quit my job and move away from the pollos* industry?
