My boss sent me a message that I was being fired, but it wasn’t meant to be sent to me. He meant to send it to HR. What do I do?

Whaaaat is going on right now. He deleted the message right after he sent it, but it read, “Hey (HR person), please begin the termination process for (me). He has been (all of the reasons I'm being fired)”. He then called me an hour later and asked if I was ok, like gauging to see if I read his message before he deleted it. I said I saw his message, and he said he was so sorry about the message mix up and that it was meant for HR, but he feels remorse and really actually doesn't want to fire me and he wants to work it out. I feel so uncomfortable right now what do I do? Edit: important detail I forgot to add. I already have another job lined up with an offer letter being sent today. Should I ask them to follow through with the termination if…

Edit: important detail I forgot to add. I already have another job lined up with an offer letter being sent today. Should I ask them to follow through with the termination if it’s not working out for them, try to get a severance package, and not tell them about the other job?
