My boss steals my tips

I have been working at this job since February and recently my boss approached me about taking tips from the tip jar at the end of my shift. For some background I work at a cafe and they only put one employee on each shift. The singular employee does everything from cashier to cook to server. Sometimes it gets super busy and I can make anywhere from 30-100 plus in tips every five hour shift. They said because they pay 10 dollars an hour it out weighs the tips? I have been working at this job since February and recently my boss approached me about taking tips from the tip jar at the end of my shift. For some background I work at a cafe and they only put one employee on each shift. The singular employee does everything from cashier to cook to server. Sometimes it gets super busy and I can make anywhere from 30-100 plus in tips every five hour shift. They said because they pay 10 dollars an hour it out weighs the tips? My boss told me when they had another employee a year before me this other employee agreed to not having tips for a pay increase from 8 an hour to 10. I was never informed of this nor am I that person that worked there prior? I also am supposed to get electric tips that they withhold. I wasn’t upset until my boss said that they got tipped 20 one time and would really hate if I accidentally took their 20 dollar tip? Like, ummmm I’ve been tipped nice before and don’t get anything? And you have the nerve to suggest I take your tips when they are mine? Like huh? Should I quit or???
